9/10 August Marine ID course.  Designed for those who have done the Observer course but want to improve their ID. Two classroom sessions and two dives. Cost £60 includes the dives. At Bovisand, Plymouth. 3 spaces

11/12/13 August Torbay exploratory diving two dives each day on the hardboat Jennifer Ann, cost £30 each day. Book one, two or all three days. Spaces each day

Photo competition.  For those of you who take photos above or below water there is a competition being run by the Marine Conservation Society Plymouth Local Group. There are prizes worth over £300 on offer and the closing date is 18th July. Photos have to illustrate some aspect of marine conservation.
